TV Roundup: Michelle Obama To Make ‘Black Girls Rock’ Debut; Meagan Good Books NBC Sitcom & More!

First Lady Michelle Obama will be giving us even more reason to tune for this year’s Black Girls Rock! BET has announced that she’s going to be making an appearance during the ceremony, airing April 5 at 7 p.m.

Although this will be the fifth anniversary of Black Girls Rock, it will be Michelle’s first time attending. She will be in great company alongside hosts Regina King and Tracee Ellis Ross. AvaDuvernay, Cicely Tyson, Erykah Badu and Jada Pinkett Smith are also set to appear during the special. Getting back to the first lady, though, Michelle will be delivering a speech on how important it is to get an education and do your best in school as part of her Reach Higher campaign.
