New Jersey Man Accused Of Waving Samurai Sword At Driver In Road Rage Incident

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — A New Jersey man was arrested following a case of road rage on the Manhattan side of the Holland Tunnel Saturday.

Police arrested 32-year-old Richardson Rosius, who they said threatened another driver with a 10-inch samurai sword.

It happened around 2 p.m. in the northbound tube, CBS2 reported.

Police said Rosius got upset over merging traffic. He allegedly got out of his car and came at another driver with the weapon.

Police arrested Rosius when he exited the tunnel in New Jersey, CBS2 reported. Officers said the knife was on his front seat.

Port Authority Police said Rosius admitted to getting out of the car with the sword in hand.
